In Latin, Dimidium means half. Returning from sculpture studies in Italy, I started making objects from a modest space—half my mother’s clothing boutique, and half my own studio. That shared room gave the brand both its name and its spirit. I’ve always had a fondness for objects with a sense of humor and imagination. Too often, contemporary products feel overly geometric, mechanical, and detached. They may be flawlessly engineered, but I craved something warmer—objects that feel human, tactile, and alive in your home. Dimidium is where those gentle objects are made.

This night light began with a sudden spark: an egg in a bowl—the white crystal-clear, the yolk a perfect sphere. What if it could glow? I made the first prototype with a silicone mold, and the moment the light came on inside the yolk, I felt something like life stirring—pure magic. To stay faithful to a real egg's proportions, I left the hollow untouched, so the final piece is slightly larger than an actual egg—yet none of its surreal delight is lost.

We rarely think about protecting our ears. Concerts, livehouses, music festivals — the volume at these venues far exceeds what our ears can take. And hearing damage is irreversible. But ordinary earplugs muffle the music itself. So we spent six months developing this pair: a balanced 15dB reduction across high, mid, and low frequencies. Even in the loudest rooms, the music stays music.
